The hardest part about my life right now is that I’m unsure of who is here to stay and how many are waiting to either make a dramatic or graceful exit. Everywhere I look I see something about friends not really being friends just people who have the same thing in common, giving one another devious competition. The scariest thing about the human mind is that you never know what its thinking or where it may wonder off. You never know what another person is capable of. I always find myself loving too hard, or trusting too much. A good heart is supposed to get you a long way, but when others around you have wicked intentions your first idea of how you expected a situation to go can sometimes fall by the wayside. Hopefully I’m not losing anyone, I’m pretty much just typing exactly what I’m thinking and how I’m feeling. But I guess that’s why life is life. You can never really be too certain about anything but your own self, your own actions, and most importantly your own intentions. I guess for now ill just be content with the people that are here, and the people who have never left, my family. And as my surroundings change I have to make sure no matter what I stay the same.

i had a talk with my girl Bree the other day about the usual: boys, money, food and then the topic of me moving back to Atlanta came up. i immediately got sad. ATL has been my home for the past 3yrs, its where MY life is, aside from my parents.

she commented back saying "don't feel bad everyone is moving, going their own way right now." no more water fights, or special brownies. no more breaking up to make up with the college sweetheart. no more free college parties. wow. have i really been so busy that i didn't realize we're closer to being "grown up" then we've every been before ?!? i still feel like i'm so young that nothing is set in stone, but the decisions we make now will affect the lives we live later. time is passing by so fast, tomorrows become yesterdays so quick. i just want to stop, smell the flowers, && enjoy the moment. . .

but not at the cost of being left so far behind i can never catch up. this 'time' thing is tricky. i guess that's where faith comes in. . faith that God has a plan for me so great that not even i could imagine. i spoke with my mom about it and she said this is just the beginning. you don't start really living until after college. either way it goes. . . this is the beginning of the BEST days of our lives

today i came across a story about an 11 year old who was teased and bullied by his classmates about being gay. Now im not sure whether the little boy was gay or not but at 11 i know he didnt deserve this. Because of all the tormenting he went through at school he felt like he had no other decision than to take his own life. Omg. This is probably the saddest thing I've read in my life. His own mother found him, he was hanging by an extension cord. Its like WOW. what could possibly be going through her mind right now? Whats going through his classmates minds? His mother had been contacting the schools administrative staff since September and they had yet to fix the problem. This goes to show you that you never know what someone is going through and you never know when what you say can be the last straw so chose your words carefully and start respecting people more. This story really touched me. He was only 11 years old. I have younger siblings, and nieces and nephews and i thank God it wasnt any of them. & im praying that they dont have to go through this EVER. please pray for this little boys family.

i was one of the fans knocked off

Drake: I’m actually very grateful I wasn’t on that cover, to be honest. I feel like everybody that was on there deserved to be on there; I’m a fan of a lot of those guys. I just think I have a different path, a different story to tell. To be put in that group is a like a gift and a curse. So to be the one guy that wasn’t on there that everyone talks about or should have been in there is kind of a good thing. It kind of creates a little bit of fun tension. I like getting my own thoughts out right now, I have fans to solidify, so that’s why I don’t do tracks with too many younger rappers or newer artists. People may consider me to be a music snob or whatever, but I like to preserve what’s mine and I also don’t just do tracks to do tracks, I make every song with a purpose. But… me and Wale are real close friends, we talk a lot, man. I listen to Kid Cudi’s shit all the time.
